Zach

The founder and head coach of Helix. Zach’s passion for helping others reach their potential led him to create a space where everyone can push themselves to be better no matter what your fitness level. Zach is most known for being a celebrity trainer and private chef. He has competed in weightlifting, powerlifting, CrossFit, bodybuilding, and triathlons. His experience coaching all types of clients has helped him create a concept that brings together the best of all training styles.

Sarah

Our co-founder and the spirit behind Helix. Sarah has competed in both powerlifting and CrossFit. When she’s not at the gym, she works as a Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist helping others improve their health.

Marco

Helix’s mascot and enforcer. Known for chasing balls, squirrels, and people that don’t put their weights away. Don’t let the face fool you, he’s the toughest coach that Helix has, but can usually be bribed with treats and belly rubs.

Emily

Emily is a dedicated coach to helping others find their inner and outer strength! Originally from Wisconsin, Emily has been working as a personal trainer in Los Angeles since 2019, and also currently works at Equinox. She had her own personal weight loss journey in college, which ignited her career for helping others achieve their fitness goals. She is certified in Pre/Post Natal Training, a Precision Nutrition Coach, and holds multiple Kettlebell Certifications. Emily never would have guessed she’d be deadlifting over 300lbs, and now can’t imagine life without the weight room!

Helen

Helen is a dedicated fitness professional with a passion for helping others achieve their health and wellness goals. Originally from Philadelphia, Helen first moved to New York to study acting at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. Inspired by her own personal transformation through exercise, Helen decided to shift her focus and pursue a career in the fitness industry.  After receiving certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Helen honed her skills as a fitness professional through 1:1 personal training and also coaches at OrangeTheory Fitness. Outside of her work in the gym, Helen continues to explore her love for acting and the arts. She also works as a Senior Content Producer for the Oprah Winfrey Network. She practices in a holistic approach to fitness, emphasizing the importance of fun balanced workouts, proper nutrition, and mindfulness.

Kristine

Kristine is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, Certified Nutrition Coach, Certified Pre- & Post-Natal Coach, Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, and mother of 2 little ones!  She has over 15 years of experience teaching group fitness classes such as Strength & Conditioning, Krav Maga Self Defense & Kickboxing, Circuit Training, and CrossFit as well as experience as an athletic trainer for UCLA Gymnastics and UCLA Water Polo. She always brings her own sunshine wherever she goes and will most likely rub some positive energy onto you next time you take her class!

Nate

Nate is a powerful guide in the art of living life to the fullest and has a passion for discovering all types of movement. His special skills consist of powerlifting, trail running, kettlebells and calisthenics. In the gym, he will teach you how to develop the strength you need to approach your life’s endeavors with confidence and look good doing it. Outside the gym, he is a shining example of the ambitious, high achieving spirit he preaches. Nate also hosts his own podcast that delivers wisdom and connection with creatives in the community that span a wide range of professions. His upbeat personality will elevate your workouts and he can always find a way to make you smile!

Rachel

Rachel’s passion for fitness ignited during her days as an elite gymnast, where she dedicated 15 years to mastering the art of strength, flexibility, and perseverance. Transitioning into college, she continued to compete as a collegiate cheerleader at San Diego State University, where she honed her skills in teamwork and motivation.  Fast forward to today, and she’s a certified trainer in multiple fields, holding credentials from NASM in personal training, as well as certifications in Lagree and Pilates. She also owns an online fitness business, RK Method, where she coaches clients from all walks of life in a variety of methods tailored to their unique needs.  Whether you're a newbie looking to kickstart your fitness journey or a seasoned gym junkie ready to take it to the next level, Rachel’s got your back. She’s ready to help you sweat, smile, and conquer those goals together.

Cynthia

Cynthia has over a decade of experience coaching strength and conditioning. Her background and specialities include Prenatal and Postpartum fitness, Functional Bodybuilding, Crossfit, Olympic, Weightlifting and Nutrition Coaching. Certifications: NASM CPT, Precision Nutrition Coach L1, IIN Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Body Ready Method Pro, CF L1

Fun fact: Cynthia is also a birth doula and is always down to talk about birth and babies!

Pippa

Pippa is a Pilates Instructor and Manual Stretch Therapist.  She was introduced to both mat and apparatus Pilates at an early age as a component of her dance training and conditioning. Pippa has been teaching Mat Pilates since 2002, and on the apparatus since 2007. She’s also certified in Fascial Stretch Therapy and NeuroMyoFascia Therapy. Pippa also holds a Master’s Degree in Dance, multiple certifications, and maintains a strong focus on continuing education.  Pippa strives to encourage and empower everyone to find ways to move fluidly, efficiently, and painlessly. Her mobility classes offer variety, adaptability, and fun while providing healthy challenges.
